As mentioned earlier, the three most common procedures that constitute a Mommy Makeover are tummy tuck, breast lift and/or augmentation, and liposuction. And remember, a Mommy Makeover can be customized to each individual patient. You can choose to proceed with one or multiple procedures at one time, and you can add or subtract procedures to create a treatment plan designed specifically around you and your goals.
Mommy Makeover Recovery
Because a Mommy Makeover is a highly customized procedure, recovery will be different for each patient and may take longer for some depending on the procedures performed. You will be required to take at least one week off work to stay home and rest. For the first few days you will need a bit of extra help from family and friends when it comes to getting around the house. You will be able to shower or bathe within 24-48 hours of surgery, and you will have a few small drains in your abdominal area and possibly in each breast that you will need to care for until they are removed at 5-7 days in the clinic. It will be beneficial to wear a compression garment on the abdomen for a few weeks to help with swelling. All strenuous activity (running, sports, yoga, etc.) is absolutely restricted for 6 weeks.

How mommy makeover pricing works — and why I quote after an exam, not online
I know pricing matters in your decision, so let me explain how a quote for elective, out-of-pocket cosmetic surgery is put together — and why you’ll never see a one-size-fits-all price on my website.
Every quote has the same building blocks. First is the surgeon’s fee. This varies widely: a surgeon’s fee reflects their training, board certification, experience, and what’s included in their practice — and it varies by region, with the same operation costing far more in Manhattan or Los Angeles than in the Midwest. (Note: when you see a “national average fee” quoted online, that’s the surgeon’s fee only — never the all-in price.)
Next is the surgery center fee — anesthesia plus the facility: nursing, OR supplies, recovery, and everything that keeps you safe while you’re asleep. Surgery centers charge by the hour, so the fee depends on how long your operation takes. A mommy makeover is a combination procedure, and the operative time depends entirely on which procedures your plan includes — one more reason your quote has to wait for your exam.
Then there are the implants or materials when they apply — for example, if your plan includes a breast augmentation, the implants themselves are part of the quote. I use Natrelle implants by Allergan, and I don’t mark them up — you pay exactly what the manufacturer charges me.
Finally, incidentals: in my quotes this covers your surgical garments and a cosmetic insurance policy protecting you against complications for 45 days after your procedure.
Watch out for this: some surgeons quote what looks like a low price because they’re only giving you the surgeon’s fee and omitting everything else. Don’t get caught off guard owing thousands more at payment time because the quote wasn’t all-inclusive. You’ll get one all-inclusive quote from us in writing — what you pay our office and what you pay the surgery center separately — so the full picture is clear before you commit to anything.
Why I don’t publish my prices: because I genuinely can’t quote you accurately until I’ve examined you. A tummy tuck alone, a lift with implants, and a full mommy makeover with Lipo 360 are completely different operations — and many patients don’t know which combination they need until I see them. Publishing a single number would just confuse you. What I can promise: your quote will be all-inclusive, in writing, after a thorough in-person exam — and every patient receives $500 off every surgery as our standing offer.
